John Nguyen 2009-2010(telecommute) Created backgrounds, items, character animation and user interface graphics for the iphone, web and ipad games, “Hamster Hunt” and "Word Droppings". SegTech Inc. 2008-2009Walnut Creek, CA (telecommute) Created backgrounds, user interface graphics and menu graphics for a paint-by-number casual game, “SegPlay Flash”. Designed a website for SegTech and researched marketing trends. Advised manager to port SegPlay to the Iphone as a major potential market. Started a company to create a casual game for the Iphone. Created concept and game design, found art and programming contractors and found an investor to fund development. Created artwork and managed contractors who telecommuted from San Diego and Boulder, Colorado.

Built, textured and animated household objects, such as lamps and fishbowls for use in online virtual worlds. Advised company of the profitability of making a minor feature in the virtual worlds their main business. The switch made the company very profitable.
Sony Interactive Studios 1994-1997San Diego, CA Environment Artist- Lead Artist
Created artwork for three Playstation video games. Made 3D object models, texturemaps, 3D virtual baseball stadiums, 3D racecourses and game levels. Managed a team of 8 artists creating 3D stadiums for “MLB Pennant Race”. Saved Sony thousands of dollars by finding a photographer with rights to take reference photos of MLB stadiums instead of buying expensive rights for Sony's exclusive use.
